If you’re a blogger, you already have all the skills you need in order to make money online. You can write entertaining copy, for starters. That’s more than a lot of professional writers can do.
That’s not meant to be a put-down of professional writers. They do a great job. Bloggers, though, have an edge because their free-flowing, conversational style is just what people like to read. It makes people trust you right away, while they might not like the sales pitch style of writing. This is doubly true if you’re writing about a product you’re really into.
Whatever your blog is about, odds are it sticks to a theme. If music is what you’re interested in, you probably write blog entries about music all the time. If you’re into hot models, you probably write about them. A quick scan of your blog posts will show you that you’ve already got most of your keywords in your writings.
Now all you’ve got to do is see the bigger picture. You need to move from that one blog you’ve got to dozens of blogs and articles spread in as wide a net as possible. Doing this by hand is a very tedious process, but you don’t have to do it that way. Article submission services are very cheap. Some are even free, but they don’t have the reach of the subscription services. You will really notice a difference when you start using them.
As your traffic increases, you will need to think about some other things, too. For instance, you will probably want to start a mailing list, so that they people who visit your blog will be reminded to come back again.
It will require some work at first, but you’ll be amazed. Once you’ve got everything set up and automated, you will start to see a passive income online start to happen. All you’ll be doing is blogging like you do every day, but money will be coming in like never before.
Really, can you think of a single reason why you shouldn’t give it a shot? It won’t cost you a thing to get on board some affiliate programs. Later, you might want to start marketing your own products. There are so many great digital product possibilities out there, like video downloads, MP3′s and eBooks. There’s no limit to what you can do if you put your mind to it!
