I am sure you know by now that google adwords PPC and other pay per click search engines like Yahoo are one of the best ways to advertise your sites and products. <p> Article submission is based on trust and that is a big advantage. Suppose you subscribe to an ezine in the form of an email newsletter. While drinking your coffee, an interesting looking article grabs your attention. You read the article, and you were right. It&#8217;s a fantastic, well written article.</p>

But then you see right below that there&#8217;s a sponsor&#8217;s link in an ezine advertisement. There is also a sponsor&#8217;s link offering a free report on the same subject at another website.</p>
<p> Now you might click both links. If you could chose only one to click from a choice of the ezine ad or one from the same author of the article you have just enjoyed, which would you pick?</p>
<p> You wouldn&#8217;t be alone if you clicked on the one from the author of the article you just read. The majority of people would, wouldn&#8217;t they?</p>
<p> Now suppose you&#8217;re surfing around on the web. You find some great articles with information and resources on your subject by doing a google search. Again you are given a choice of the author&#8217;s website or a link to a free report that includes more information. Right beside it are five Google AdWords ads on the same topic. As sometimes happens, they are both offering free reports about the same subject.</p>
<p> You are more than likely to click on the author&#8217;s link underneath the article, though, aren&#8217;t you?</p>
<p> Article submission beats ezine ads and Google AdWords because you establish a relationship and build trust with your reader. You are without doubt the expert. When all&#8217;s said and done, the article was written by you. And the webmaster or ezine publisher wouldn&#8217;t have published the article if they didn&#8217;t think you knew what you were talking about, right?</p>
<p> A long time ago i used to make appointments and sell to people in their homes. The warm up was the first thing of importance i learned to do. You&#8217;ve just entered someone&#8217;s home, they don&#8217;t know who you are as a person, and they know you&#8217;re going to be trying to get money from them before you leave.</p>
<p> Most people have a natural resistance to sales people, so it&#8217;s important to gain their confidence as quickly as possible. When direct selling you first of all introduce yourself and endear your audience with small talk before getting to your sales pitch. Once they get to know you a little, the more they will relax.</p>
<p> Most people can&#8217;t do sales because they remain the &#8220;enemy,&#8221; the horrible sales person who wants to sell them something. Now let&#8217;s be honest with ourselves here, most people hate a sales person!</p>
<p> Just think how great it would be to warm up to thousands of people easily and not just a few people at a time. Instead of trying to sell them something, Imagine if you could educate them to solve their problems which would be of more benefit to them. That&#8217;s entirely different, isn&#8217;t it?</p>
<p> Submitting articles enables you to do this, and on a massive scale. It&#8217;s a good idea to submit a lot of quality articles to sites and directories as each article could be picked up on these sites and therefore spread around the internet. Your articles will be read and people will warm to you. Solve their problems and they&#8217;ll want more.</p>
<p> It&#8217;s hard to accomplish that with Google AdWords. You only have three lines and a few words to build interest and trust and to get the click. It&#8217;s also hard to achieve that with ezine ads. The problem with solo ezine ads is that everyone knows they are advertisements.</p>
<p> Article submission is the secret. Writing your own articles and then submitting them is not too difficult. Write informative, well written articles about your subject adding links back to your site or affiliate program etc. A solid reputation and trust can be built through article writing and submission. Through article submission you will gain trust. Don&#8217;t forget when you submit articles that are good quality with sound advice, you build up a steady flow of people visiting your site that respect and value your opinion, that are there to receive more information and find out if there is anything else you can do to help them.</p>
